Chicago Farmers’ Markets

Despite living in the city, Chicagoans still have the opportunity to get fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as flowers and baked goods, without shelling out a lot of money at a specialty grocery store. The Farmers’ Market season in Chicago is here! Probably the most well-known market to people working in downtown is the market in Daley Plaza. It takes place every Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and is a great place to pick up some berries for a pie or some fresh onions for cooking. This is not the only opportunity in town, however.
